We aim to provide you with the latest, most innovative engineering processes that give you the best technical and commercial solution for each project.
Our CNC machines are highly sophisticated, extremely accurate and are capable of producing precision components consistently and in large volumes. We now offer modular multi-station CNC machining that provides the highest degree of flexibility as well as previously unheard of short cycle times. If you need precision engineered components manufactured to the uppermost quality, at competitive prices and with fast delivery, then we can help.
Dawson Shanahan has now invested in two Triflex modular multi-station CNC machines to meet your needs for high volume machining. Triflex Modular multi-station CNC machines allow for simultaneous five-sided machining without re-clamping. Each of the five CNC units has four fixtures mounted on a central trunnion that indexes to each machining station. The result is that customers can see an increase in production output of a remarkable 300%. Compared to the latest stand-alone machines, the Triflex is several times faster, producing parts at much lower cost.
The Triflex turret has up to eight tools, and tool changes can be made during the machining process. Although it isn’t necessary for spindles to be stationary during a tool change, the spindle RPM adjustment can be made during the tool change, allowing for the precise running of tools through permanent assignment to the spindle. Our 5-Sided modular multi-station CNC machining also features extremely short chip-to-chip time, and separate loading and unloading stations.
This multi-tasking, high precision, fast machining capability reduces cost while also granting you the ability to improve component performance and functionality. Benefits include:
- Simultaneous machining with five machining units
- Machining without re-clamping
- Highest degree of flexibility with short cycle times
- 300% increase in production output
- Extremely short chip-to-chip time
